It must be a common problem as I've had no problems returning cartridges to stores. Taken straight fromthe package, handled and inserted properly and it's a defective metal contact strip. This color ink cartridge prints excellent photos if you're lucky enough topurchase one that isn't defective. Often the metal contract strip isdefective and the photo printer delivers the bad news.
I will pay the full price at the stores for a new cartridge. Will not buy this product again. I am not happy with the quality of the prints. Prints are too blotchy and the dark colors do not print out correctly.
I should have ordered directly from HP. Second, they are bad refills. I ordered two cartridges, one of which has no blue color. I have been purchasing from Amazon for over 10 years now, and have never posted a review. Nothing I can do now because I am overseas with a cartridge that doesn't work. First, these cartridges are not new. But I feel that I was ripped off this time. They are refills.
The cartridges I received were recycled inkjet cartridges.I am not pleased. I ordered this item from Amazon.com seller OCInkjet. The ink cartridge was advertised as new, and I was charged the price of a new one. I ordered two of these.
DO NOT order from this deceptive, dishonest, disreputable seller. In addition, it took 9 days from the date of my order for the shipment to arrive and for me to discover this deception so I did not have time to order authentic products from a reputable seller before I needed them. Be sure you are ordering from Amazon or another seller. I ordered several HP 110 Tri-Color Inkjet Print Cartridge (CB304AN) ink cartridges. The seller "OC Inkjet" shipped remanufactured (read "refilled") third party cartridges and listed them as "HP Compatible" on the invoice.
